Cardiac surgeon, scientist, bio-engineer, pioneer & chief cardio-pulmonary xeno-transplant surgeon, applied human genetic scientist & genetic engineer- Recently his books were inaugurated at Constitution Club, in New Delhi By his Holiness Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Adhokshyanand Devtirth Maharaj, Puri- Orissa./nDr.Dhani Ram Baruah & his contributions to medical sciences have been very well received all over the world./nDr.Dhani Ram Baruah, who was born in India, completed his medical graduation in Assam, became Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons & Physicians in Cardiac Surgery 30years ago from Royal College of Surgeons & Physicians, Glasgow, Scotland. After completion of General surgical training from Republic of Ireland, he became a master in Cardiac surgeries and carried out thousands of bypass surgeries & other critical cardiac surgeries. But by observing the drawbacks of presently available critical cardiac devices, surgical and investigating procedures, he decided to find out some alternative cardiac devices, some new surgical procedures with easy investigative techniques. He has developed Artificial heart Valves called “Baruah Heart valves”, totally permanent implantable artificial heart-Baruah heart 21 (1985-1994). His pioneering work in xenotransplantation is accepted by the scientific community, who admitted that pig is the only animal closer to human and its organs are compatible for organ transplantation. (1997) He is the first one who has developed applied human genetic engineering for curing dreaded diseases. He has invented biological weapon in form of small interfering RNA (Baruah Sirna) from edible medicinal plants, curing dreaded incurable diseases such as Coronary Artery Disease, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, Moyamoya, SLE, Takayasu. He is the first one on this planet who has carried out total human genomic mapping in diseased conditions with Mirna profiling. He has written following books on Applied Human Genetic Engineering which are based on experimental & clinical experiences- 1.“Unfolding the mysteries in human genetic sciences in heart disease & cancer”- where his work on Mirna based gene sequencing is described in relation to heart disease & cancer.(2008). This book is used as Text book in many universities in USA. 2“It was a distant dream, now it is the reality”- The present series of 5 volumes of books written by him describes about the human genomic mapping in various diseased conditions with Mirna profiling. Vol.1-Renal disorder- Human genomic mapping is carried out under renal dysfunction with Mirna profiling and its cure with Baruah Sirna. Vol.2- Coronary artery disease- where in CAD patients, reversal of the disease takes place by destroying detrimental Mirna by Baruah Sirna, thereby curing the disease. Vol.3- Hypertension & Diabetes- where Mirna profiling is done in hypertensive diabetic patients and its cure is subsequently proven with Baruah Sirna. Vol.4- Cancer & Eradication Programme where Mirna profiling is done in pre- and post-treatment cancer-pulmonary blastoma patient. Vol.5- Cerebral palsy & Down’s syndrome- where Mirna profiling is done in Down’s syndrome & Cerebral palsy patient and how Baruah Sirna is destroying detrimental Mirna thereby, curing genetic disorders such as “Down syndrome & Cerebral palsy”. /nIn conclusion, Baruah Applied human genetic engineering is used to cure dreaded incurable and rarest of all the diseases by using his biological weapon-Baruah Sirna is beyond the reach of today medical sciences, but still he works hard to reach out to the masses and cure their various ailments./nH.
